Drawings
I began my interest in drawing at a very early age and remember creating my own version of a comic book as a teen using neighborhood friends as my subjects. I attended Ivy School of Professional Art in Pittsburgh, PA, from 1972 until 1974, where I could refine my skills. I continued to draw and paint, using photos I had taken as references, while I utilized my talents as a musician playing bass guitar for a number of years in various local rock bands. Eventually I enrolled at Penn State University, in State College, PA, as a Fine Arts Major with an emphasis in Printmaking to further my interests in the arts.
I have since found that my favorite medium to work in is colored pencils and have sharpened my drawing skills over time. I am currently a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and have achieved Signature status.
